Today, Angie had her second ultrasound, and everything is looking good. We got to see some movement, some fingers, and the doctor and technician said that everything appears to be normal. We even got an indication that it's a boy that's making Angie so sick. We won't know for sure for another five weeks, but our ultrasound tech seemed pretty confident.
We were able to see some 3-D images of the baby during the appointment. Some were almost terrifying, as it looks like an alien is growing. I've included one for the blog.
We really couldn't be more excited at this point.

Best friends for the new baby.
Today, while breaking the news to a friend, I got some good news in return. One of my best friends from college (also named Ben) has a child on the way. His wife, Kim, and Angie got along incredibly well when we spent time together at a wedding in Sedona this past May. So it only makes sense, that 'Ben and Ben' (who got married less than three weeks apart) would both have babies coming in April. The due dates are April 5th and 6th. Looks like our little one will already have somebody to play with on our trips back to the Midwest. Congrats to the Duvals! We're excited to be going through this with such a great couple.

The first glimpse of our new baby. |
Everything is looking good so far, and the due date is still the same. Apparently, April 6th, 2011 will be the day where everything changes forever!!

well...
Today, Angie and I found out that some big changes will be occurring in our lives. It looks like we're going to have a baby!!
Considering we have so many family members and friends spread all over the country, I figured that a blog about the new changes might help keep people informed.
My brother James has had great success with his blog about my nephew Max, and I've enjoyed seeing pictures, videos and reading posts about my nephew.
I hope you enjoy doing the same!
Wish us Luck!! Here we go.....
